I’ve been following 3ce’s Instagram page for a while now, bought some of their cosmetics a little while back, while in most cases I’d rate their products a little bit above average to good, I still do pay attention to the brand as their packaging can be quite captivating, I mean who could resist a cute flashy looking product on a supermarket shelf?!
Today, however, the South Korean cosmetic brand released a new product, an oil cleanser, and then decided to share the good news with their 1.7 million Instagram followers.
The commercial looked pretty, pastel colors here and there, with a drop-dead gorgeous Korean model to showcase the product beautifully packed in a bottle.
Pretty girl waves the product around here and there to get our attention, pretty girl pumps a bit of the product in her hands, pretty girl rubs the product on her face, the only problem was, not a streak of makeup was wiped off!
If you are trying to sell a product that is supposedly supposed to help people wipe the dirt, oil, and makeup from their faces, don’t you think having a product showcased to be doing the very opposite is total marketing fail?
But who knows, maybe they’re just trying to follow in on Kylie Jenner’s footsteps, and create publicity by controversy or an obvious lack of attention to details.
